Move over Smithsonian! There’s a new museum to write home to mommy about. Mistress Mommy that is. San Francisco’s beloved, notorious and yes legendary Good Vibrations opened The Antique Vibrator Museum at their Polk Street store location. Just walk in, manage to get past all the goodies and go to the back room (ooh la la).
Already creating a stir, or shall we say a national vibe, some of the antique vibrators from the turn of the century can be seen in the new film Hysteria, a major Hollywood film starring Maggie Gyllenhaal and Rupert Everett in a Victorian-era romantic comedy set around the creation of the vibrator with Good Vibrations co-presenting the premiere last week as a part of the S.F.
